Are you a skilled recruiter with deep experience hiring highly skilled candidates in the civil engineering sector – specializing in bridges, tunnels, and marine structures – across multiple US locations? Do you thrive on creating deep connections, identifying skilled professionals, and enhancing recruitment strategies? If yes, we want to hear from you!

Join our Global Talent Acquisition Team in COWI!

As part of our continued growth in North America, we’re seeking a skilled Global Talent Acquisition Specialist to join us in Oakland or Seattle. In this role, you will work primarily on engineering-focused hires, collaborating closely with our global talent acquisition network to support recruitment efforts across US offices. Reporting to the Head of People and Organisation for North America, you will own a broad portfolio of hiring needs and lead strategic initiatives that align with COWI’s overall business goals.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Conduct market intelligence and monitor job markets to identify talent-sourcing opportunities.
  • Act as a strategic partner to our VP and local leadership, implementing innovative hiring initiatives aligned with global business objectives.

The first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners, or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways, but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with leadership and teams
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple requisitions across different locations and levels, sourcing passive talent via LinkedIn and other platforms.
  • Ability to translate business needs into talent acquisition strategies, with experience in a multinational, multicultural environment.
