Phipps Neighborhoods, the social service affiliate of Phipps Houses, has been a catalyst for community growth and empowerment for over 50 years. Our mission is focused on creating safe, inclusive spaces where community members can access education, career opportunities, and economic pathways. position Summary:
Group Leaders are responsible for supervising program participants, ensuring their safety, and fostering a positive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment. The ideal candidate works closely with a small group of elementary, middle, or high school students to support their growth and success in both academic and non-academic areas by facilitating age-appropriate activities in a school or center-based after-school program. This role involves implementing and actively participating in a variety of activities that engage students in a dynamic, academically supportive, and culturally enriching environment.
Part-Time Group Leaders work 20 hours per week. Most work schedules are between 2 PM and 6 PM, Monday to Friday. Other part-time schedules may be available depending on need at some locations.
