Job Overview
The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning all areas of the hospital and/or patient housing in a thorough and professional manner. This position is an important part of our team because you will keep the patient’s room clean so the patient and family can focus on healing. Cleaning services include: sweeping, damp mopping and waxing floors; vacuuming rugs, carpets, upholstery and draperies; dust furniture, wash walls, equipment and high touch areas according to departmental policies.
Responsibilities
- Cleans and maintains assigned area of the hospital in a neat orderly, sanitary, and attractive condition according to established policies and procedures
- Uses proper equipment, cleaning materials, supplies and cleaning solutions according to procedure.
- Checklist completed daily and turned-in to the Director or crew leader at the end of the shift.
Hours of this position are 2:45 p.m. – 11:15 p.m. with alternating weekend coverage.

Qualifications
1 Year Environmental Services Preferred
High School Diploma/GED Preferred
Compensation is determined based on experience and department equity.
