Position Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Department: Human Resources

Location: Greeley, CO

Reports to: Human Resources Supervisor

Position Overview: The HR Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Human Resources department by assisting with various HR functions, including recruitment, on-boarding, employee relations, benefit administration, compliance, and record keeping. This position ensures smooth HR operations and helps foster a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Assist with job postings, resume screening and interview coordination.

  • Facilitate new hire onboarding, including background checks, paperwork, and orientations.

Employee Relations & HR Support:

  • Serve as point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.

  • Support employee engagement initiatives and assist in resolving minor workplace issues.

Benefits & Payroll Assistance:

  • Assist employees with benefits enrolment and address basic benefit-related questions.

  • Support payroll processing by ensuring accurate records and employee data updates.

Compliance & Record Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files and HR databases.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws, assisting in audits and reporting as needed.

HR Programs & Projects:

  • Assist in organizing training programs, employee recognition initiatives and company events.

  • Support diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts and wellness initiatives,

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related is preferred but not required.

  • 1-2 years of HR experience preferred

  • knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Proficiency in HRIS Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment.

  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays.

  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule.

  • Base salary range of $18-$20/HR depending on experience.
