Job Title: Industrial Electrician

Job Description

Join our team as an Electrical Apprentice, where you will assist in the assembly, installation, wiring, and testing of electrical equipment. This role offers the opportunity to work on state-of-the-art acoustical equipment enclosures, fuel tanks, turbine systems, and skids.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the assembly and installation of electrical equipment.
  • Connect wiring and equipment according to codes and job specifications.
  • Conduct conduit bending, wire pulling, and hanging.
  • Support the installation of light fixtures and switches.
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of hand tools.
  • Communicate effectively and demonstrate good listening skills.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the work area.
  • Adhere to safety standards and follow local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Perform any other tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Basic safety knowledge.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
  • Knowledge of electrical hand tools and materials.
  • Ability to bend conduit (various sizes depending on apprenticeship level).
  • Understanding of electrical theory and codes, varying by apprenticeship level.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of lighting systems and basic fire alarm, voice, and data systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings.
  • experience with electrical installations and NEC Electrical code.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $33.00/hr.
