Job Description
The Senior Marketing Coordinator position will perform the following duties:
Primary – Creative Services and Graphic Design
- Lead creative and design strategy in collaboration with the Marketing Coordinator (Secondary Responsibility) and produce a wide range of marketing materials for our customers, suppliers, and internal departments including:
- Logos and brand assets
- Digital and print menus
- Product catalogs and brochures
- LTO (Limited Time Offer) and specials flyers
- Event invitations and signage
- Food packaging and labeling
- Special Event and Meeting Graphics
- Ensure all designs align with Performance Foodservice brand guidelines and support sales and customer engagement goals.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Leadership to develop custom marketing solutions to drive new business and case growth.
- Manage print production for onsite commercial printer and outsourcing for physical materials with the support of the marketing coordinator.
Secondary – Social Media Management
- Lead and manage the company’s social media strategy in collaboration with the Marketing Coordinator (Primary Responsibility).
- Develop and execute a content calendar for platforms such as Internal Social Sites, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
- Create engaging posts, stories, and campaigns that highlight products, promotions, events, and company culture.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics across Google Business and social media platforms; optimize content and engagement strategies based on data driven insights.
- Respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay current with social media trends and best practices in the foodservice industry.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in a marketing or design role, preferably in foodservice, hospitality, or CPG.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work.
Experience with social media platforms and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite).
Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Basic photography and video editing skills.
Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact).
Knowledge of foodservice industry trends and terminology.
