The mission of the Prosegur Virtual Security Operations Center (vSOC) is to provide a proactive monitoring center to track evolving threats around the world, evaluate potential risks to our clients’ sites and travelers, and to monitor and coordinate risk operations around the world. The vSOC is a single point of contact for our clients to facilitate rapid contact, situational awareness, reporting, and response. In addition to monitoring and response, the vSOC fuses intelligence analysis to the situational awareness to create predictive reporting and risk mitigation and avoidance guidance. The center operates on a 24/7 schedule globally, while also coordinating regional and localized support functions across the enterprise. 

Role responsibilities

The main responsibilities of the Lead Risk Intelligence Analyst are to establish best-in-class vSOC processes, provide oversight for all monitoring of world events and provide overwatch of the Clients’ extensive global operations to anticipate and mitigate potential risks. The Lead Risk Intelligence Analyst is responsible for leading a team of Operations and Intelligence professionals who support will monitor events and incidents, send, and escalate notifications, and dispatch the necessary resources to resolve active events. The Lead Risk Intelligence Analyst will research, analyze, and author intelligence assessments using both internal and open-source materials to produce and distribute intelligence products through approved channels. The Lead Risk Intelligence Analyst will interact with clients, escalating issues and briefing on developing risks to the clients’ environment.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Intelligence Studies (or related field) or 5+ years equivalent military/professional intelligence training
  • Demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to utilize multiple intelligence, incident management, video management and dispatch systems.
  • Excellent time management, project management, oral communication, technical writing, presentation development, facilitation, and organizational skills required.
  • Can effectively communicate and interact with all levels of management.
  • Must be flexible and possess the ability to function independently in stressful situations.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Knowledge of security procedures, life safety, and business continuity.
  • Track and analyze major threat trends for the client and create risk reports (such as Viral Outbreaks/Terrorism/Weather Patterns/ and Geo-Political Issues).
  • Must be confident under pressure with the ability to make sound decisions.
