LEW Proc 3 Group Leader Sanitation

General Summary:

• At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role – Processing Line Group Leader Rate is $24.92 (Break in rates and $0.75 cents differential pay from 6PM – 5:59AM applies). The Group Leader is responsible for overseeing and directing in the Processing Department.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• At all times, operate in a manner consistent with safe operating procedures.
• Responsible for providing direction for the crew and equipment in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Document any operational change during production and anything out of the ordinary, in the comment section of MES as well as any required data into the MES system.
• Make necessary adjustments to achieve customer specifications.
• Organize and direct rework assignments.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and/or stoppages.
• Monitor all QLC additives.
• Coordinate action plans in dealing with extraneous issues in all instances.
• Insure the box code is correct.
• Direct ribbon add-back conforming with requirements.
• Enforce safety and set the example for safety.
• Adhere to all Company and regulatory GMPs.

Minimum Qualifications & experience:

• Knowledge of sanitary GMPs.
• Physical requirements to perform job as defined in the essential job function.
• Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions.
• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for up to 8-hour shifts and lift 55 lbs.
• Previous customer service experience including being responsive and having a sense of urgency.
• Computer literacy – Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
• Good verbal and written communication skills including the ability to positively interact with others.
• Demonstrate attention to detail.
• Demonstrate a professional image in all situations.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities/Competencies:

• Knowledge of sanitary GMPs.
• Physical requirements to perform job as defined in the essential job function.
• Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions.

Working Relationships:

• This position reports to the Processing Department Manager or a Supervisor.
• This position will regularly interact with other production and support group supervisors. Regular interaction with other plant management.
