Job Title: Lull Operator
Job Description
As a Material Handler, you will operate a Genie Boom Lift or telehandler and take responsibility for tying rebar and rigging it into bundles for lifting. Previous experience in a manufacturing or rebar environment is preferred. You must be prepared to start work immediately and contribute effectively.
Responsibilities
- Operate Genie Boom Lift or telehandler to manage materials.
- Tie and rig rebar into bundles for lifting.
- Utilize overhead cranes and reach trucks for material handling.
- Perform welding, grinding, and deburring tasks as needed.
- Bend conduit and handle machine operations efficiently.
Essential Skills
- Experience in labor, production, and material handling.
- Proficiency in operating boom trucks and reach trucks.
- Competence in welding and grinding tasks.
- Ability to read tape measures accurately.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with rigging chains for rebar bundles.
- Familiarity with overhead crane operations.

Work Environment
You will work in an industrial environment at a downtown rebar manufacturer. The atmosphere is hot and dirty, requiring safety glasses in sensitive areas. Dress code includes business casual in the office and jeans, steel-toed shoes, and a t-shirt in the shop. The office is small, with only one person at the front desk.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, Florida
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $22.00/hr.
