Maintenance Technician 35/hr

• Maintenance Technician – Start ASAP***

We are seeking an experienced maintenance technician. In this role, you will provide troubleshooting and maintenance of all electrical and mechanical areas of the plant.

Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and maintain ammonia refrigeration systems in accordance with PSM/RMP standards
• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs on refrigeration equipment
• Troubleshoot system issues and perform corrective actions to minimize downtime
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation of system performance, inspections, and repairs
• Ensure compliance with all OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies and procedures
• Respond to alarms and system alerts during assigned shifts
• Assist with audits, inspections, and training as needed
• Support general facility maintenance tasks as assigned
• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
• Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
• Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
• Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.

Hours:

• 2nd shift 3pm-11pm

Pay:

• $28-40/hr DOE

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of mechanical and electrical experience
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings
• 3-phase wiring/24v/480v electrical experience
• Read electrical schematics

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 – $83200.00/yr.
