Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

This role is primarily focused on mechanical tasks, working with conveyors and packaging equipment, as well as boilers, compressors, and ovens. There may also be work on ammonia refrigeration and outside utilities. Your duties will include performing preventive maintenance, such as checking belts, chains, and electrical cabinets, greasing equipment, and replacing chains, bearings, and belts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform troubleshooting on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Conduct repairs and preventive maintenance on machinery.
  • Wire ovens and coolers in the Servitude Plant.
  • Read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
  • Conduct welding and fabrication tasks.
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.

Essential Skills

  • experience in hydraulic systems and mechanical maintenance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot 120v-480v electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in reading electrical schematics.
  • Experience in welding and fabricating.
  • At least 3 years of employment with the same company.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Plumbing and pipe threading experience.
  • Experience with refrigeration and outside utilities.
  • Boiler experience is desirable.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milford, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 – $30.00/hr.
