position Summary: As our Maintenance Technician Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day mechanical and electrical operations of Manufacturing Equipment. You will need to complete work orders in a timely manner meeting or exceeding pre-established deadlines to reduce downtime and meet production goals. Ability to coordinate with other employees as part of a team and respond quickly to requests for assistance from production personnel. Troubleshoot, repair, or retrofit machines and use a computerized maintenance management program under the direction of the EHS and Facilities Manager. Also, you will need to adhere to established safety guidelines- policies- and procedures while promoting a safe work environment and following OSHA safety standards in an industrial working environment with the use of proper Lockout Tagout.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • General knowledge of electrical/electronic schematics
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Efficient use of tools and some electrical/electronic test equipment
  • Familiar with basic electrical troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of Electrical/Electronic safety codes.
  • Attention to detail
  • Extensive background with pneumatics, hydraulics, rollers, motors and pumps in a high speed production environment

  • Accountable for performing machine repairs and preventive maintenance according to schedule, troubleshooting and repairing or retrofitting machines, and completing work orders in a timely manner. Responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and specifications, supporting operational excellence by meeting customer delivery and quality commitments, and being responsive to customer needs.   • Collaborate with personnel to perform Root Cause Analysis for equipment failures and ensure all calibrations are compliant. You will collaborate across Winchester by leading by example, exhibiting empathy, ensuring task ownership, using data to drive decisions, and consistently putting the customer first.

Pay Transparency:

Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is $28.60/hr – $32.60/hr (DOE), plus incentive compensation. Exact salary will be contingent upon your experience, education, skills, and any other factors Winchester Interconnect Corporation considers relevant to the hiring decision.
