Mortgage Closing Specialist

Summary

Our Financial Services client located in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a mortgage closing specialist to join their on-site team. People with previous experience as mortgage closers, mortgage application processors, or other loan processing roles are highly encouraged to apply. This is a Monday to Friday, fully on-site position. 8:30am-5:30pm.

The Day to Day

Perform routine data entry and validation tasks

Initiate third party orders (title, appraisal, hazard, flood cert, credit, etc.)

Review and validate loan documents

Handle routine calls, emails and/or chat responses

Monitor work queues and intervening as needed

Working with Refinance Loans and Purchase Loans.

Scrubbing Loan Files. Making sure taxes and insurance are correct.

Goal is to be closing 8-10 Loans A Day.

Working with Urgency, in fast paced environment.

Who are we looking for?

• Mortgage Experience required*

Bilingual Spanish is a plus ( Higher Pay offered for Bilingual)

General understanding of applicable Federal, State and Local mortgage regulations a plus

Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently

Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment

Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment

Effective time management skills to deliver work on time

Capable communicator, written and oral skills

Strong negotiation skills with ability to effectively resolve problems

Compensation

$23/hr+ depending on experience
