Position Summary:

Applied Training Solutions, LLC is seeking a Mutual Aid Coordinator to assist in the management and coordination of mutual aid resources. This role supports resource mobilization and tracking under the Statewide Mutual Aid Agreement (SMAA), the Emergency Management Assistance Compact (EMAC), and Direct Federal Assistance Declarations during emergency operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the coordination and deployment of mutual aid resources during emergency incidents
• Support the administration of SMAA and EMAC agreements, and Direct Federal Assistance requests
• Track and document mutual aid resource requests and deployments
• Liaise with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure effective coordination of mutual aid support
• Provide support in the development and execution of mutual aid plans
• Ensure compliance with legal, operational, and fiscal requirements related to mutual aid deployments
• Support documentation for cost recovery and after-action reporting
• Maintain situational awareness regarding resource availability and readiness

Basic Qualifications:

• 1+ years of work experience in mutual aid coordination or a related emergency management role
• Experience with Mutual Aid contracts; preferably at the state level
• A-Team qualified through NEMA
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Must be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with EMAC mission requests and tracking systems
• Experience working in a State or Federal Emergency Operations Center (EOC)
• Knowledge of FEMA reimbursement policies and mutual aid reimbursement procedures
• Experience using incident management systems like WebEOC

• Performance Location: On-site while on assignment (location TBD)

• Clearance Required: None
• Travel Required: Yes – up to 100% while on assignment

Working Environment:

The work environment may include Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs), office settings, or field sites. Duties may require extended hours beyond 12 hours per day and frequent travel throughout the continental United States and its territories.
