NC Programmer

Marvin Composites is hiring a CNC Programmer to join our team at our Fargo, ND, plant. While Marvin Composites is known for our innovative window products, our in-house machine shop plays a key role behind the scenes, designing and building the custom tooling and dies needed to produce our high-quality window frame profiles. This role involves complex programming that provides key support to our Tool and Die makers. You’ll work in a clean, air-conditioned shop with the tools, technology, and trust to keep improving how we operate.

CNC Programming: Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs for CNC mills and Wire-EDMs
• Machine Setup: Generate setup instructions, machine tool lists, and fixtures for Toolmakers based on the requirements of each project
• Quality Control: Ensure that CNC programs meet quality standards, tolerances, and specifications. Perform regular checks to confirm that parts are produced within acceptable limits
• Process Optimization: Analyze machining processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality
• Troubleshooting: diagnose and resolve issues related to CNC programming, machine operations, and tooling
• Collaboration: Work closely with Designers, Tool makers, and Supervisors to ensure smooth completion of tooling
• Documentation: Creating and maintaining detailed records of programming changes, setup sheets, machine operation guidelines, and quality control reports
• Safety Compliance: Adherence to all safety protocols and guidelines in the workplace to prioritize the well-being of all employees

Schedule: Monday – Friday , 8hr shifts

• Associate’s degree in Machining
• experience with CAD/CAM software
• CNC Machining Experience: 2 years minimum
• CNC programming Experience: 2 years minimum
• Strong understanding of G-Code, M-Code, and machining principles
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
