position Summary:
The Tie-In Operator / Warper is responsible for preparing weaving machines for warp tie-in operations and ensuring the smooth flow of production. This role involves managing warp beam replacement, performing tie-ins, and keeping looms running efficiently to meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare looms for warp tie-in operations.
- Operate automatic tie-in machines or perform manual tying as needed.
- Connect warp ends from the new beam to the existing warp on the loom.
- Monitor and adjust equipment for proper operation.
- Replace warp beams and ensure accurate threading.
- Perform basic maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized.
- Communicate with shift supervisors and weaving technicians on production status and any issues.
Qualifications:
- Prior textile or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and commitment to safety and quality.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Shift: Night Shift (Full-Time)
