What You’ll Be Doing:

• Respond to emergencies and administer first aid to employees for job related illnesses and injuries
• Deliver OSHA and job/site/contract required surveillance program services (i.e. hearing conservation, respiratory protection, visual acuity, bloodborne pathogens, biological monitoring, etc.) to identified employee populations in collaboration with Environmental Health and Safety. Note: most of these services are performed offsite by an outside clinic, but the nurse will be responsible for scheduling, obtaining and reviewing all results from the clinic
• Maintain accurate recordkeeping in electronic medical records system (Cority) in compliance with OSHA requirements
• Dispense OTC Medications
• Maintain compliance with laws, regulations and standards governing occupational health and safety for employees and the workplace
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2pm – 10:30pm

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Active and unrestricted California RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Associates Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• At least five (5) years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Experience in Occupational / Employee Health, ER, or Urgent Care settings a plus
• Audiometry and/or Spirometry certifications a plus
• Certified Occupational Health Nurse a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, e-mail, and internet navigation
• Strong presentation skills
• Ability to work independently or with a team on special projects
• Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously
• Ability to maintain confidential documents and information
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at one time under tight deadlines
• Ability to function within all levels of organization and at various locations
