WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Patients may not ever hear of the job title “physician office supervisor” but chances are they have felt the effects of that position. The office supervisor is the one who makes sure schedules are efficiently managed, wait times are minimized, and that patient concerns are heard and handled. In short, the supervisor keeps the physician’s office running the way it should from the moment a patient is greeted to the moment they check out.

Do you provide exceptional customer service? Are you organized and motivated to make sure a job is done right? Are you good at coordinating people and schedules? If so, we need to talk.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Build rapport and cooperative relationships with customers. Actively seek to understand customers’ circumstances, problems, expectations and needs.

Manage patient flow ensuring vacancies are filled as appropriate, rooms are efficiently utilized, and wait times are minimized.

Identify problems with daily flow and collaborates with co-workers and providers to resolve.

Manage employee issues, as directed by manager when necessary.

Coordinate Staffing

Process daily bank deposit.

Practice cost effectiveness to conserve client resources.

Oversee patient needs.

Participate in cross training functions.

WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED

Interact with others in a calm, friendly and caring manner

Active listening skills and empathy toward others

High attention to detail

Strong organizational and analytical skills

Follow well-defined instructions and comply with regulations, standards and procedures

Multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Proficient computer skills

Qualifications

  • Preferred Associates Degree
  • High School Diploma required
  • 3 years Ambulatory office setting required.
