As a Paralegal Sr., you will provide professional and technical assistance to legal staff by researching and analyzing law sources, and investigating facts. You will handle a diverse range of sophisticated assignments as well as prepare documents, certificates, and other legal filings. You will be successful in this role if you thrive in a team environment, have broad experience, are innovative and possess excellent judgment!

Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Opens, maintains, and closes matters, including document management in electronic form
- Performs investigative work, including information gathering, identifying and collecting documents and information
- Leads and performs due diligence, including searches, filings, and good standing certifications
- Conducts legal research, including relevant case law, relevant statutes, and legal articles
- Drafts and analyzes correspondence and legal documents
- Assists in the preparation and review of discovery requests and responses, coordinating and managing document receipt and production; collaborates with outside counsel as required
- Reviews matters for legal hold applicability, working with stakeholders as appropriate
- Keeps the internal calendar for matters
- Interviews custodians and/or potential witnesses
- Interfaces with outside counsel and internal stakeholders to locate materials required for prosecution or defense of a matter
- Checks online dockets
- Other duties as assigned
education/Years of Experience:
- Required: High School Diploma/GED and a minimum six (6) years’ experience in corporate or law firm
- Preferred: Some College/Associate’s Degree from an ABA accredited Paralegal program and a minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in corporate or law firm, and/or Certified Paralegal designation from NALA
Other Requirements:
- Must possess strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to learn matter and document management software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills, with emphasis in Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Assists with responding to third-party subpoenas and in the preparation and review of requests and responses, coordinating and handling document receipt and production while collaborating with outside counsel
- Must possess litigation, legal hold, and eDiscovery experience
- Preferred: Legal research skills
