The Parenting Educator (Educator) for the Promising Practices program will provide family-centered home visiting support, assessments, resources, support groups, and education to meet the needs of the children and families enrolled in the program. The Educator will deliver culturally responsive and trauma-informed services to families while focusing on parent-child interactions, development-centered parenting, and family wellbeing. They will support families in accessing additional resources, such as referrals to additional support services, to ensure they can achieve family wellbeing. The Parenting Educators will assist the Director of Family Services with overall program development, creation, and implementation, as well as with creating outreach plans for family participant recruitment. Utilizing the Promising Practices model, Educators will work closely with the parent partners to create and implement different plans and strategies to meet the family’s needs.

Schedule: Full-Time. Generally, Monday – Friday; 9:00am-5:00pm. Occasional/Some evening or weekend hours when needed for outreach purposes or after-hour visits to clients.
Estimated Salary/Pay: $22.00 to $24.00 (depending on experience & qualifications).

Must pass a criminal background check, driving record check, and MS-604.20 background check. As a condition of continued employment, staff person may be required to submit to periodic re-verification of these background checks. Must submit to and pass annual recertification of compliance with CLUES Automobile and Transportation Policy and driving record check.
