Patient Service Representative in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania

Position Overview: The Client Support Team is the first point of contact for all mainline incoming customer inquiries and requests. CST members ensure that each inquiry is accurately and efficiently directed to the appropriate department for resolution, maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initial Contact: Greet customers professionally, understand their needs, and gather essential information.

  • Assessment of Needs: Determine the appropriate department or individual to handle the request.

  • Handoff Process: Route calls or inquiries to the correct department, including live transfers, forwarding messages, or logging tickets for follow-up.

  • Documentation: Record every interaction, including the nature of the inquiry and the details of the handoff.

  • Clear Handoff Protocol: Ensure the receiving department acknowledges the handoff and accepts responsibility for follow-up and resolution.

  • Accountability Tracking: Track adherence to protocols and effectiveness in managing handoffs.

  • Tracking Software: Log all customer interactions in a CRM system or equivalent tracking software.

  • Status Updates: Ensure systems reflect the current status of inquiries, including handoff details and expected resolution times.

  • Other Duties: Participate in programs like the Compassionate Condolences Program as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to assess and address customer needs efficiently.

  • Proficiency in using CRM systems or equivalent tracking software.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work onsite 5 days per week in Montgomery County, PA.
