Role: Payroll Manager
Salary: $100,000 – $125,000/annually
Location: Manhattan, New York (Hybrid – 3-4 days a week in office)
About the role: We are seeking a Payroll Manager to join a fast-growing and reputable Real Estate firm in NYC. This candidate must have experience with UKG/UltiPro and managing high volume payroll operations across multiple states. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for employees.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the entire payroll process for the company, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Utilize UKG/Ultipro software to process payroll accurately and efficiently.
- Handle high-volume payroll operations, including bi-weekly and monthly payroll cycles.
- Ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to resolve payroll-related issues.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to management.
- Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Train and mentor payroll staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management, preferably in a real estate or similar industry.
- Proficiency in UKG/Ultipro software.
- Proven experience in handling high-volume payroll operations.
- Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
