Client: Real Estate Firm

Role: Payroll Manager

Salary: $100,000 – $125,000/annually

Location: Manhattan, New York (Hybrid – 3-4 days a week in office)

About the role: We are seeking a Payroll Manager to join a fast-growing and reputable Real Estate firm in NYC. This candidate must have experience with UKG/UltiPro and managing high volume payroll operations across multiple states. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the entire payroll process for the company, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Utilize UKG/Ultipro software to process payroll accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle high-volume payroll operations, including bi-weekly and monthly payroll cycles.
  • Ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to resolve payroll-related issues.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to management.
  • Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Train and mentor payroll staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management, preferably in a real estate or similar industry.
  • Proficiency in UKG/Ultipro software.
  • Proven experience in handling high-volume payroll operations.
  • Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
