Location: Manhattan, New York (Hybrid – 3-4 days a week in office)
About the role: We are seeking a Payroll Manager to join a fast-growing and reputable Real Estate firm in NYC. This candidate must have experience with UKG/UltiPro and managing high volume payroll operations across multiple states. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for employees.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the entire payroll process for the company, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Utilize UKG/Ultipro software to process payroll accurately and efficiently.
Handle high-volume payroll operations, including bi-weekly and monthly payroll cycles.
Ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity.
Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to resolve payroll-related issues.
Prepare and submit payroll reports to management.
Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
Train and mentor payroll staff.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management, preferably in a real estate or similar industry.
Proficiency in UKG/Ultipro software.
Proven experience in handling high-volume payroll operations.
Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
