Under direct supervision of the Perinatal nurse manager, provide the perinatal team with the surgical instruments and other equipment needed to render care to perinatal patients.Maintain a safe environment and work areas within the Perinatal unit.Major functions include processing instruments and equipment from soiled to sterile; cleaning and setting up labor and delivery rooms; housekeeping; patient and specimen transport; supply processing; completing work within shift time frames; training new team members; and collaborating with all team members.
Salary Range: $29.69 – $29.69 / hour
- High School Diploma or proof of equivalence, required
- Previous work experience, required
- Previous hospital experience, preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience, preferred
- Fluent in reading, writing, speaking and understanding English
- Ability to perform all physical requirements pertaining to the following:
- Maintenance of a clean patient environment
- Transport of patients
- Delivery of nutritional services to patients
- Maintenance of patient care supplies
