All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule:** PRN **Shift** : Evenings, Nights during week and weekends **Location:** 2201 S CLEAR CREEK RD, Killeen, 76549 **The community you’ll be caring for:** § Located in the heart of Texas, AdventHealth Central Texas and AdventHealth Rollins Brook provide care for the citizens of Bell, Coryell and Lampasas counties. § Both AdventHealth Central Texas and AdventHealth Rollins Brook are committed to reinvesting in the community by offering the services, technologies, and facilities to set the standard with the continually changing healthcare industry. § As a member of our team of more than 1,000 employees you will enjoy competitive salaries, exceptional benefits and opportunities for growth while working in an environment that is centered around our mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ. **The role you’ll contribute:** **Prepares and organizes pharmacy medications by name and dosage, as listed on patient orders.** **The value you’ll bring to the team:** **Pharmacy Operations** **Pharmacy Practice** **Completes critical medication order scrutiny, drug profile review, and patient monitoring to identify, prevent, or mitigate medication-related problems** **Proficiently verifies/enters medication orders and proactively communicates with medical staff to resolve problem medication orders** **Provides patient** **centered care services** **Initiates and facilitates appropriate therapy based on age, disease, and drug considerations** **Promotes cost-effective drug therapy and actively participates in stewardship activities and restricted medication/surveillance programs** **Facilitates medication safety practices** **Identifies, mitigates, and reports potential and actual adverse drug events, adverse drug reactions, and medication errors** **Documents pharmacist interventions and appropriately documents in the patient medical record** **Clinical Pharmacy Services** **Provides support to direct patient care programs** **Provides accurate, safe, timely, and appropriate medication therapy based on patient need** **Places practice priority on the delivery of patient-centered care** **Supports practice in decentralized areas** **Collaborates with other pharmacy staff** **Collaborates with care providers and Pharmacists to optimize care and improve services** **The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed** **:** **Minimum qualifications** : · Bachelors and 1 years experience · Texas Licensed Pharmacist This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
