Job Description

HEICO Component Repair Group is currently seeking an experienced Pneumatics Bench Technician to join our team. The Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and overhauling aircraft pneumatics components in accordance with FAA/EASA regulations, OEM manuals and company quality standards.

Essential responsibilities:

– Disassemble, clean, inspect, repair and reassemble pneumatics aircraft components and subassemblies.

– Interpret technical data including maintenance manuals, overhaul manuals, service bulletins, and work instructions.

– Accurately document all work performed in compliance with FAA / EASA company procedures.

– Maintain a clean, safe and organized workbench / shop environment.

– Collaborate with quality inspectors, engineers and other technicians to ensure accuracy and compliance.

– Identify parts for repair or replacement

Requirements

Minimum (5) years of experience in aircraft component repair, preferably with Pneumatics Components.

Familiarity with FAA Part 145 Repair Station regulations.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings.

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Experience using precision measuring tools.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to stand, bend, and work at a bench for extended periods.

Manual dexterity to handle small parts and tools.
