Press Operator Responsibilities: – Set up and operate small, medium and large presses – Set up and operate support equipment such as stock feeders, roll feeds, etc. – Utilize routings, prints or directions to make required parts – Set up complicated sheet metal stamping dies – Set up and operate in-line feeders, coil stock reels and various support equipment – Check parts to be sure “dull” tooling doesn’t cause excessive burr conditions Requirements for Press Operator: – High School Diploma or equivalent – Able to lift up to 35lbs. at least every hour a shift – Able to stand or sit entire shift depending on parts that need to be assembled – Able to read instructions in English manitowocresumes@qpsemployment.com IND043 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
