- Leads the team providing Production Operations, Quality Operations and Program Managers with strategic and tactical planning tools to ensure work scope and deliverables are on track and within compliance of requirements.
- Provides the tools and systems necessary to effectively and proactively manage, control, and report on schedule for concurrent deliverables throughout the organization.
- Services include developing production plans, capacity models, load profiles for labor and equipment, operational standards and estimates, and product yield factors by collecting performance data, tracking data, analyzing, developing forecast of estimate to complete, and reporting. Identifies and tracks all changes or potential changes to the scope, ensuring estimates of schedule impact and recovery are given visibility with Operations customers and Program Management.
- Integrates schedule data and reporting with the company’s management information systems to facilitate meeting company performance goals.
- Additional services include technical leadership for productivity improvement initiatives within PP&C organization and the metric suite that guides improvement initiatives for other organizations.
- Provides the technical direction, integration, and leadership for the baseline development, controls, scheduling, analysis, and reporting for execution of all baseline deliverables, modernization efforts and process development initiatives.
- Accountable for incorporation and execution of Production Control processes in compliance with contractual requirements.
- Ensures operational standards as well as labor and equipment estimates to analyze the ability of manufacturing to meet programmatic requirements are set and followed.
- Applies Lean Manufacturing principles to maximize productivity and minimize lost time. Ensures that performance baselines are maintained in configuration control through the use of approved change control procedures.
- Ensures trends and schedule impacts are identified for management attention and recommends corrective action.
- Coordinates, reviews, and/or approves specific production plans, capacity models, load profiles for labor and equipment, operational standards and estimates, product yield factors and schedules. Analyzes performance and recommends corrective action or recovery plans when required.
- Establishes goals, expectations, priorities, and integrates work within the organization; ensures an appropriate sense of urgency for required completion/delivery dates.
- Handles all personnel matters associated with direct reports; interviews; hires or makes hiring recommendations; evaluates performance; coaches, counsels, rewards, disciplines employees, as appropriate; trains and develops staff.
- Develops and implements change initiatives and process improvements. Leads the organization in a professional “can-do” attitude.

- Bachelor’s degree: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
