Do you have a degree or professional certification in accounting and a working knowledge of Government Auditing Standards and/or American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Professional Standards? If so, the Department of the Auditor General (DAG) is looking for a motivated self-starting individual like you to join our team of fiscal watchdogs. To fulfill position duties, the ideal candidate should have strong technical, analytical, organizational, collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills.

The DAG is looking for multiple Quality Assurance Specialists (QAS) to join our Office of Quality Assurance and Technical Services (Office) team. An employee in this position works collaboratively with other employees and, at times, independently to fulfill audit quality assurance responsibilities for the Department. Quality Assurance Specialists within the Office maintain a proficient working knowledge of Government Auditing Standards, AICPA Professional Standards, and Department policies and procedures to effectively complete duties.
