Quality Manager III in Fort Meade, Maryland

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Quality Manager III to join our team in Ft. Meade, MD .

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Implementing methods to inspect, test, and evaluate products and production equipment.

  • Ensuring products adhere to quality standards.

  • Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.

  • Working according to deadlines for the delivery of products.

  • Training and managing production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of products.

  • Tracking products through the development process to guarantee that each part of the process is correct.

  • Performing detailed and recorded inspections of final products, ensuring the products are up to requirements and user needs.

  • Identifying process improvement opportunities and software development risk reduction activities.

  • Supervising and mentoring subordinate project and ICON Innovation Collaborative (IIC) staff.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM or Business field and nine (9) years of position-relevant work experience.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams and Project.

  • Experience in a Government QA project environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience providing quality management with software development and IT service management projects.

  • Relevant industry standard certifications such as Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt or PMP. Experience auditing to external quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 20000, AS9100, and CMMI development.

  • Experience with peer reviews and process auditing. Experience collecting and analyzing metrics.

  • Experience with development of Cyber Tools and Capabilities.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
