Job Title: Freight Receiving Clerk

Job Description

The Freight Receiving Clerk will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods into our facility, ensuring accuracy in inventory and efficient processing of shipments.

Responsibilities

• Receive all incoming products and manually unload trailers, a task that requires physical strength and endurance.
• Verify incoming shipments and ensure all information is accurate.
• Utilize an inventory management system on a computer, requiring strong attention to detail.
• Maintain flexibility to assist in other areas such as kitting and shipping as needed.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in receiving, inventory management, and order picking.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack.
• experience with shipping processes including FedEx and UPS.
• Knowledge of inbound and outbound inventory control.
• Familiarity with SAP and cycle counts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Computer experience, specifically with inventory management systems.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in freight shipping/receiving.

Work Environment

Work in an organized, temperature-controlled warehouse environment. Regular hours are 8am-4:30pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $21.00/hr.
