The ICRE within the Department of Medicine has been awarded a 5 year grant funding research to build the knowledge base of evidence-based interventions that dismantle systemic racism. We are testing an intervention using a cluster randomized trial across 26 institutions. We will follow participants for two years to study the impact of the intervention. We will also study the factors that impacted the participants using qualitative research with participant interviews. Finally, we will study the neural response to racism before and after the intervention. We are seeking a Research Assistant to join the research team to coordinate the day-to-day management of the intervention implementation. Duties include:

  • Coordinating the intervention across the sites and assigning facilitators accordingly
  • Assist with facilitator preparation
  • Ordering supplies and intervention materials, and assessments.
  • Assist with additional duties as assigned

Job Summary

Conducts research assessments and procedures. Recruits, screens, and enrolls eligible participants in studies; escorts participants to research scanning sites. Updates databases for registry assessments and clinical trial forms.

Physical Effort This is a mostly sedentary position
