Summary Under medical supervision, delivers respiratory care services to patients in all areas of the Hospital (e.g. Intensive Care Units, medical and surgical floors, emergency department, post-anesthesia care units, and infant nurseries).# Respiratory Therapists must maintain standards of performance for the area assigned and may be required to supervise the work of other therapists and/or students.### # Minimum Qualifications Completion of one of the following: Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner or Osteopathic Respiratory Care Practitioner. Current Pennsylvania Temporary Practice Permit as a Respiratory Therapist AND Pennsylvania licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner or Osteopathic Respiratory Care Practitioner within 6 months of hire. Successful completion of the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Certification AND Pennsylvania licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner or Osteopathic Respiratory Care Practitioner within 6 months of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. # Preferred Qualifications Minimum of one year previous clinical respiratory care experience.
