THE JOB:

As an entertainment Rigging Technician at Beau Rivage, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining rigging systems that bring our spectacular productions to life. Working at heights, you’ll ensure flawless execution of atrium decor, aerial acts, performances, and rehearsals, all while upholding the highest standards of safety and precision.

THE STARTING RATE: $50.00 an hour

THE SCHEDULE:

On Call Grave Shift

11:00pm – 6:00am

On call will be utilized a minimum of 4 times per year

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Operate rigging systems and related equipment for performances, artist training, and property maintenance at heights as directed by the department Management, including motorized winches controlling aerial acts
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of all rigging equipment specific to the production in order to operate and maintain mechanized and manual rigging equipment safely
  • Inspect and maintain equipment, as well as update maintenance and inspection records as directed
  • Participate in special projects including the construction and installation of show rigging systems, and inter-departmental projects that may include hanging, flown, or other needs that fall within the technician’s specialty
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of all rigging equipment specific to the production in order to operate and maintain mechanized and manual rigging equipment safely
  • Participate in special projects including the construction and installation of show rigging systems

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Brings 2+ years of theatrical or rigging experience in large-scale productions
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of rigging safety, inspection procedures, and equipment operation
  • Holds a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
