Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing the work of the sanitation crew.
- Conduct the Pre-Operational SSOP inspection before the end of the crew’s shift and ensure everything has been cleaned/sanitized for production to begin the next morning.
- Maintain the cleaning schedule logbook.
- Conduct maintenance inspections outlining all needs in the facility relating to maintenance issues.
- Conduct a Pre-Operational SSOP inspection for the warehouse/dock area/exterior of the facility daily.
- Monitor the chemical and cleaning supplies on hand.
- Verify dishwashers are monitoring chemical concentrations at both dish machines during the shift. Will also check the concentration of sanitizer used in the production dish room.
- Evaluate the carts used in the production areas to ensure none that are soiled enter the production rooms.
- Record PM production room and cooler temperatures on the monitoring log.
- Responsible for changing the running total of days on the safety boards throughout the plant.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule.
- Able to understand, read, and communicate in English, Multi-Lingual a plus
- Can provide and deliver training to staff.
- Must be Reliable-Presentable- and Professional.
- Able to work with others as a Team Player.
- Able to work closely with customers in a fast-paced environment.
Experiences
- Required to know what the Material Data Safety Sheets (MSDS) are and how to use them.
- Must possess a basic understanding of food-borne pathogens and how cleaning and sanitizing minimize this risk.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should know Excel & Microsoft Word Processing software
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a loud/noisy, weather exposure, hazardous areas, vibration, lighting conditions, and high-volume environment and works safely following proper guidelines.
Physical Demands
Standing and walking for extended periods, continuous movement between different ramp areas, requiring significant walking throughout shifts, occasionally lifting objects to 50 pounds, keen eyesight for monitoring ground operations and identifying potential safety hazards, and ability to respond swiftly to emergencies or changing conditions.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time exempt position in a 24/7/365 work environment.
Flexibility to work 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts, holidays, weekends, and call-ins as required.
