Security Installation Technician

Description

• Install commercial alarm, CCTV, and Card Access systems.
• Provide reliable, high quality customer support.
• Perform customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
• Perform system testing and signal verification.
• Maintain the necessary truck stock/inventory (equipment and tools).
• Perform new system installations, upgrades, and additions.
• Organize and utilize technical resources, information, material, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks.
• Monitor and ensure the progress and completion of assigned tasks.
• Complete and submit all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
• Must complete other projects, as assigned.

Top Skills Details

• Need to have previous experience in installation role/technician role. Our client has over 300 brands of cameras they are using, so they need to understand different cameras and security access protocols.
• Experience programming on computers is helpful. I.e. programming elevator keys, hotel doors, controlled access areas, etc.
• Must have a strong work ethic.
• Must be detail-oriented.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 – $29.00/hr.
