Security Professional – Logistics Patrol

As a Security Professional – Logistics Patrol in Lakeland, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a logistics and distribution environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. You will provide excellent customer service, communicate clearly with team members, and respond promptly to any concerns. Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
• Support the overall security operations by maintaining a visible presence and helping to deter unauthorized activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security experience is required.
• Florida Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• A valid guard card or security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
