Job Title: Senior ASIC CAD Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior CAD Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in CAD/EDA software from vendors such as Cadence, Ansys/Synopsys, Siemens, Keysight, and more, to create, modify, and maintain an intuitive and automated ASIC design environment. This role will also require extensive knowledge of PDK installation/management/modification, tool installation, updates, custom scripting, and design environment management.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain analog, mixed signal, and digital front and back-end flows.
  • Support electrical and multi-physics modeling and simulations 
  • Manage tool installation and updates and the associated modules
  • Support Pegasus, Calibre, Voltus XFi, Quantus/Calibre xL/EMX/HFSS for LVS/DRC/ERC/PEX.
  • Debug LVS/DRC/ERC/PEX/EM-IR issues and work with designers in resolving them.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance internal scripts and tools using Shell/Skill/Python/C.
  • Support the installation and evaluation of other CAD tools.
  • Create and modify Pcells as per project requirements. 
  • Maintain data management systems and manage design data archiving.
  • Handle PDK and standard cell installation, management, and modification.
  • Ensure Linux system and environment tool compatibility 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a CAD Engineer, preferably in a senior role.
  • Expertise with Cadence, Ansys/Synopsys, Siemens, and Keysight CAD/EDA software
  • Familiarity developing and maintaining Digital, Mixed Signal, Analog, and RF design flows
  • Familiarity with bulk and SOI CMOS, BiCMOS, SiGe, InP, GaAs, and GaN processes
  • Strong knowledge of PDK installation/management/modification.
  • Proficient in Shell/Skill/Python/C scripting/programming languages.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong communication and team management skills.
