Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Cloud Engineer with proven expertise in designing and deploying multitenant Microsoft Sentinel environments. The ideal candidate will architect, deploy, and manage Azure-based security and monitoring solutions in a managed services or multi-customer environment. This role requires deep hands-on experience with Entra ID, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Microsoft Sentinel, Lighthouse, and RBAC, along with strong scripting and automation skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement multitenant Microsoft Sentinel architectures to support multiple customer environments securely and efficiently.

  • Configure Azure Lighthouse for cross-tenant management and visibility.

  • Deploy and manage Log Analytics Workspaces, Data Connectors, Workbooks, Playbooks, and Analytics Rules for Sentinel across tenants.

  • Automate deployment of Sentinel and related components using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.

  • Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and resource delegation strategies across tenants.

  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root cause analysis.

  • Document system design, configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Key Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5-8 years of experience in Azure Cloud Engineering or Cloud Security Engineering roles.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel and Azure Monitor ecosystem.

  • Hands-on experience deploying multitenant Sentinel setups using Azure Lighthouse.

  • Strong experience with Azure ARM templates, Terraform, Bicep, and PowerShell/CLI.

  • Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Event Hubs, and Custom Connectors for Sentinel.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Defender, Defender for Cloud, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Azure Policy.

  • Strong grasp of network security, identity management, log ingestion, and compliance.

  • Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, especially in a customer-facing or MSP environment.
