Senior Cyber Security Engineer

Job Summary:

Milacron is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Cyber Security Engineer with a strong background in network security, cloud security, Checkpoint firewalls, IDS/IPS, network segmentation, and vulnerability management. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating security systems to ensure the protection of our organization’s computer networks and information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing and project managing the implementation of security systems, applications, and services.
• Work with MSSP on forensic analysis of cyberattacks to determine the source of the attack and how to prevent similar attacks in the future and improve security operations. Prepare reports as required in support of security breaches.
• Coordinate with the infrastructure team (data center and network) on the remediation of identified risks and vulnerabilities.
• Performing regular cyber risk assessments and attack and penetration testing to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities in an organization’s computing environment.
• Establish, publish, and perform cybersecurity service level agreements (SLA’s) and metrics.
• Work with the audit on required IT regulatory compliance and coordinate with the IT team to ensure compliance.
• Providing recommendations on new security measures and systems based on business needs and industry best practices to strengthen the existing company cyber cybersecurity posture.
• Maintain and update as necessary, security policies, procedures, and plans to safeguard data and systems from cyberattacks.

Required Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree with experience in Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in project management and deployment of cybersecurity software and tools such as DLP, EDR, Identity and access management, and privileged access management.
• Operational experience of tools and technologies related to security operations, including endpoint security, Asset and Vulnerability Management, Intrusion detection and response, Identity access management, and Data Leak Protection.
• knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, NISF CSF).
• Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Project management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• A four-year degree in Information Technology with an emphasis in information or cybersecurity
• Cybersecurity certifications such as CCISP
• Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
• Experience supporting a large, distributed enterprise or a global company.
• Working knowledge of routers, firewalls, systems, and software
