  • Contribute to our long-term architecture and spin fraud prevention strategy by developing scalable detection frameworks and maintaining high system reliability.

  • Help define and lead development of features in collaboration with product and design.

  • Mentor junior engineers on engineering best practices.

  • Write automated unit and integration tests.

  • Deploy services into the AWS infrastructure.

  • Pair with other team members when necessary.

What you’ll need:

  • 4-6 years of experience developing Java services and web applications.

  • Ability to lead cross-functional projects.
Ability to design, develop, test and deploy web applications using common standards and
    frameworks.

  • Strong experience with AWS, including deploying applications using services such as EC2,
Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, ElastiCache, and IAM.

  • Strong experience with both SQL (RDS, Aurora) and NoSQL (Redis, ElastiCache) databases.

  • Familiarity with AWS networking, infrastructure-as-code (e.g., CloudFormation or Terraform), and monitoring best practices.

  • Experience in fraud detection, trust & safety is a plus.

  • Experience with writing automated tests.

  • Experience with web-based API design and development (e.g., GraphQL, REST).

  • Experience building stream processing systems using Kafka or AWS-native services.

  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks and component-based architecture.

  • Curious and open to developing expertise in anti-fraud systems, adversarial behavior analysis, and behavioral anomaly detection as part of the role.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Commitment to “internal client” and customer service principles.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.

  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
