Senior Training Systems Engineer

<div class="isg-job-description“>Description: NSI requires a Senior Training Systems Engineer to support the HH-60W Modernization Branch for the Air Force Helicopter Program Office at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. The Senior Training Systems Engineer shall demonstrate thorough knowledge of the DoD acquisition system and the associated program documentation that may be required at any phase of a program’s life. Will have at least ten years of experience supporting DoD program/project acquisition with demonstrated acquisition leadership experience and will be familiar with non-developmental item integration, agile development, certification and accreditation, and A&A processes.
Safety certification (i.e. Flight Safety Officer (FSO), Accident Mishap Investigation Course (AMIC), or equivalent) is required along with human factors training or certification.
Location: Dayton, OH  
education: Advanced Degree (Master of Arts (MA) / Master of Science (MS)) and 12 years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD.
Experience: At least three years’ Personnel Recovery (PR) and Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) experience. The candidate will also be required to have three years’ direct support to missile defense missions for UH-1N Replacement support.
Security Clearance: Secret Clearance is required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
