Client in Durham looking for Shipping technician 1st shift 

$20.00 Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm OT as needed

A shipping technician ensures products are prepared and shipped according to regulations and standards. They handle data entry, maintain inventory, and WMS. They inspect packages, load and unload supplies, and follow safety procedures.Sit down and stand up forklift needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Experience on forklift and powered industrial equipment
• Apprenticeship, vocational training, and/or certification, a plus
• Follow standard work instructions as assigned
• Follow safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment)
• Perform hands-on tasks
• Troubleshoot issues
• Meet production standards
• Lift up to 50lbs, stand, bend, and reach
• Maintain clean and organized workspace
• Accurate recordkeeping and inventory documentation
• Testing and inspection of product
