SOC Manager

Summary
Manages, plans, and coordinates the activities of the supervisors engaged in the preparation, installation, and production of shipyard interiors by performing the following duties in a manner that complies with all Trident Maritime systems safety procedures.
Responsibilities
Other duties may be assigned as required.
– Coordinates and assists supervisors assigned to installation of HVAC, Insulation and Joiner products.
– Coordinates the development of manning requirements needed to maintain schedule and budget.
– Follows established windows of opportunity for installation to ensure customer schedule dates met.
– Coordinates the maximum percent complete installation plan to support all Trident Maritime Systems installation efforts and customer’s needs.
– Coordinates manpower requirements by reviewing personnel and overtime to meet changing conditions, under the direction of the Site Production Manager.
– Reads specifications, such as blueprints and data, to determine installation requirements.
– Supports the company’s employee engagement activities to support the achievement of company goals and objectives.
– Is accountable for installation performance, quality, and increasing efficiencies through process improvement efforts.
– Consults with other trades such as electrical and Pipe to coordinate installation activities. Enforces safety policies and regulations.
– Maintains an appropriate labor-management relationship with coworkers.
Qualifications
– 10 years related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
– High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
