Software Developer in United States

ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Mid Level Software Developer to join our team! For this position the work is remote but a onetime trip to Clarksburg ,WV customer site is required for processing with the customer.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develops, creates, and modifies general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.

• Analyzes user needs and develops software solutions.

• Designs or customizes software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.

• Analyzes and designs databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.

• Sets operational specifications and formulates and analyzes software requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 4+ years of IT related experience, 6+ years experience with an Associates degree OR 2+ years of experience with a Master’s degree.

• Experience with Java in Linux environments.

• Experience with AWS, AWS Lambdas.

• Experience with NodeJS and Angular.

Clearance Requirements:

• The ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance prior to starting this position.

• Priority given to candidates with a current/active secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

• Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.

• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
