What You Will Do
- Interact professionally and timely with clients via email, phone and in-person
- Prepare RFPs for all ASO and fully insured submissions to market with Account Executive direction
- Collect, manage, and review proposals
- Update marketing results into spreadsheet ensuring accuracies to be used internally and in client presentation
- Request renewals for all lines of coverage
- Initiate review of all plans, cost and contract terms within renewal based on criteria provided by Account Executive
- Provide recommendations to Account Executive
- Provide analysis of benchmarking, contributions, network disruption and GeoAssess as requested from Account Executive
- Negotiate with carriers based upon targeted goals from Account Executive
- Provide underwriting of all medical/Rx, dental, vision, life, and disability plans and provide IBNR to client
- Serve as subject matter expert on underwriting and financial reporting, as well as stop loss contract provisions
- Maintain ongoing relationships with carrier and vendor partners
- With minimal guidance, analyze data for inconsistencies and trends
- Provide a written and oral summary of findings to Account Executive
- Build and customize reports to fit client needs
- Prepare client presentations and present to clients with provided direction from Account Executive
- Provide mentorship to analyst and perform technical review of work
- Support and demonstrate IMA’s core values

You Should Have
- Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Math, Statistics, or Finance preferred
- Proven experience as an Analyst or similar role in the employee benefits brokerage industry for 5+ years required
- Attain and maintain applicable state Life and Health License in accordance with IMA standards
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite with advanced skill in using Excel spreadsheet calculations
- Understand concepts of underwriting and actuarial computations
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and present financial and statistical data compiled through various sources to facilitate decision making
- Effectively organize and manage multiple projects while meeting time sensitive deadlines
- Ability to be firm and persuasive when needed, while maintaining positive working relationships
- Handle confidential information with tact and discretion

Salary Range
$70,000—$95,000 USD
