We own the software that enables global package delivery for parcels, Prime Now (one hour ultrafast delivery), Restaurants and Amazon Fresh to name a few Amazon business powered by our technology and experiences. We are inventing the next-generation smart warehouse and smart delivery operations with technologies that encompass Wearable, Robotics, Machine Learning, etc. We develop the technology, productize the solution, operate and support the lifecycle of the products and services we deployed.

Our scope includes devices, sensors, hardware, and software, matching customer needs and delivery capacity with precision and efficiency, and expanding and transforming delivery experience with unprecedented quality, productivity and scale.

As a Senior MTE Hardware Engineer, you will own the design, implementation, and deployment of highly specialized text fixtures for industrial machine vision camera and optical systems. You will collaborate across electrical, mechanical, firmware, and optical disciplines to build and validate test stations. You will design fundamental aspects of manufacturing validation, including test plans, pass/fail criteria, and test flows. You will analyze test data, perform forensic root cause analysis, and generate technical reports for leadership updates. You will travel to contract manufacturers to bringup test systems, diagnose failures, and support product ramp and validation activities. Your DFM/DFT analyses will drive continuous improvement of production yield.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
• Experience with the project management of technical projects
• Experience in component selection and understanding of component reliability
