We’re seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead our last hundred yards automation initiative, focusing on developing and implementing robotic solutions for final delivery operations from delivery vehicles to customer doorsteps.

The Senior Product Manager for Last Mile Robotics Automation will be responsible for spearheading our autonomous delivery robotics initiative, encompassing both strategic and hands-on operational duties. This role will drive product strategy by defining roadmaps, identifying market opportunities, and developing compelling business cases for robotics implementation. The position requires deep technical engagement, working alongside robotics engineers to oversee autonomous navigation systems, AI/ML integration, and safety protocols. The product manager will build and maintain crucial relationships across multiple stakeholders, including operations teams, urban planning authorities, technology vendors, and property managers, ensuring smooth deployment and adoption of robotic solutions. They will lead agile development processes, establish and track key performance metrics, and manage comprehensive pilot programs from conception to full-scale deployment. Success in this role demands a balanced combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and exceptional stakeholder management skills to effectively revolutionize our last hundred yards delivery operations through cutting-edge robotics solutions. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to navigate complex technical challenges while maintaining a clear focus on operational efficiency and customer experience enhancement.

LMDA (Last Mile Delivery Automation) is a cutting-edge automation system designed to revolutionize the final phase of package delivery, focusing specifically on the last hundred yards from delivery vehicle to customer doorstep. The system integrates autonomous robots equipped with advanced AI/ML algorithms, real-time navigation capabilities, and smart obstacle avoidance technology to efficiently transport packages to their final destination. These robots are designed to navigate various terrains, including sidewalks, building entrances, and residential complexes, while adhering to local safety regulations and maintaining secure delivery protocols. LMDA incorporates cloud-based fleet management, real-time tracking, and dynamic route optimization to ensure seamless coordination between delivery vehicles and robots. The system features a user-friendly interface for both delivery personnel and customers, providing live tracking, delivery notifications, and interactive robot communication. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
