Environmental Restoration LLC is a provider of cost effective hazardous wastes material management and removal services. Our services include Emergency Response, Site Remediation, Environmental Construction, and Specialty Technical Services. Since 1997, we have been a remediation contractor for federal, state, local agencies and private sector clients, providing services nationwide from our St. Louis corporate headquarters and from our 24 regional offices located across the United States.

Field Chemists will:
  • Ensure health and safety is number one goal by following company policies and procedures and always working in a safe manner.
  • Develop and implement sampling plans to determine the extent of the clean-up required.
  • Conduct and/or oversee sampling and analyses of soil, water, air and other solids and liquids to determine the concentration of hazardous substances present.
  • Perform air monitoring activities.
  • Record and track sample collection, field monitoring and analytical results.
  • Categorize(HAZCAT) hazardous waste liquid and solid samples and utilize the data in developing bulk groups/waste stream.
  • Conduct and/or oversee the segregation of like material by hazard class, bulking and packaging of materials in proper shipping containers and preparation of paperwork and inventories for proper disposal of wastes.
  • Assist in the procurement of off-site laboratory analysis.

 
Frequent travel is required
Ideal candidates will have the minimum qualifications and experience:
 

  • B.S. degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science or closely related field with 2 years’ experience;
  • Knowledge of EPA QA/QC data collection protocols;
  • Knowledge of EPA standard methods of analyses of multi-media waste and environmental samples;
  • Knowledge of theory of operation and ability to calibrate field screening instrumentation;
  • Prepare written technical reports and sampling plans;

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, and physical exam.
Legally eligible to work in the United States (Verified through E-Verify)
Must be able to interpret and follow written and oral instructions and assignments.
