Salary Range: $95,000.00 To $105,000.00 Annually
Emerald, a leader in building dynamic market platforms that integrate live events and media, seeks a Strategy Associate to support the development and creation of strategic initiatives and projects to drive organizational effectiveness across the business. This role will report to the EVP, Strategy & Communications, and work in partnership with executive and senior leadership across the company. The Strategy Associate will need to integrate into all areas of the organization to effectively organize and execute projects.
This role will be based in NYC on a hybrid schedule aligned with our executive leadership team’s office presence.
Responsibilities:
- Create marketing materials for client meetings, covering key topics such as financing
options, working capital optimization, and industry insights
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to evaluate business performance and identify key drivers of growth
- Build and maintain financial models and scorecards to track key metrics and business KPIs
- Maintain internal analysis pertaining to portfolio performance and update according to growth, drivers and industry trends
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to analyze and execute decks for deliverables including brand performance, strengths, and opportunities
- Contribute to the preparation of business cases and recommendations for new projects or
- Continuously monitor financial and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement
- Recommend process improvements based on analysis of current practices and outcomes
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in financial analysis, business strategy, consulting, or a related field
- Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
- Solid understanding of financial markets, economic data, and emerging trends
- Strong analytical, research, and project management skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on prioritization and critical thinking
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks independently
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, and analysis)
- Proficient in PowerPoint, with the ability to create compelling and clear presentations

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Target Compensation: $95,000-105,000 (bonus eligible)
Please note that this range reflects a reasonable estimate of the target compensation for this position. This range may ultimately vary based on a candidate’s qualifications and may be higher where required by applicable law.
